We stayed here on 12/25/21, and I have to say that it was pretty great given there is a pandemic, and it was a major holiday. I have stayed at Courtyard for both business and personal travel and I can honestly say that I have never had unreasonably bad experiences with Courtyard locations, and I highly recommend them to all.
The only issues (pretty minor) this night was that our room cards were not working immediately after checking in, so we had to go back downstairs to fix them, the room lighting was a little dim, and there were a few dying or dead stink bugs in the room. But to be fair, these bugs were all over outside too, so it can be expected that they would get inside too. I would rather non-troublesome stink bugs over other bugs any day. Also, the exterior doors were not responding to our room cards, so that was a little frustrating when taking our dog out to use the restroom, then having to walk around to the front to get back in.
Not truly an issue, just disappointing, since I know the food and coffee can be fantastic from the Bistro, but the breakfast menu was limited, and I wasn't able to order my normal specialty coffee. What I was able to get (hot breakfast sandwich) was still really good, and the coffee was okay too, so I still appreciate what was available given the times. :)
Even though we had those issues, the room was very spacious, comfortable, and CLEAN, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the showers we took were AMAZING!! The front desk, housekeeping, and Bistro staff were all extremely polite and inviting as well.

Sophia and the breakfast lady made me feel so warmed and welcomed the entire time I was there! My first time staying here and I must say I will be back whenever I’m visiting charlotte! Housekeeping also made sure I had fresh towels everyday. Even with the construction going on I still enjoyed my stay. Definitely recommend

First business trip to Charlotte. I selected this hotel based on its proximity to CLT and the fact that is stated that it had an airport shuttle and bistro in the hotel.
I called the hotel in advance to ask about the shuttle and the lady who took my call was humble and professional.
When I arrived at CLT I called the hotel and asked for a pickup. Much to my surprise the shuttle arrived in about 5 minutes. Driver was pleasant and professional. Same with the check in process at the hotel.
Hotel was very clean and inviting and comfortable.
It was nice to have the Bistro available. Not many food choices, but I expected that. Severs at the bistro were wonderful people. Caring, helpful and friendly and made me feel relaxed.
I was a little worried about my return to CLT via the hotel shuttle because I was on the first morning flight out. I went to the front desk to inquire, and they took my name and room number and assured me they would be ready and on time witch they were.
My entire visit made me think what a well-managed property this is. Everything was always consistent. The nature of this business trip was stressful enough for me, but the hotel and staff took away stress and didn’t add to it which I was so appreciative of.
I will definitely stay here again and would encourage anyone reading this to do the same.

I was worried about staying here because I read the reviews before and there were a lot of not great ones. But honestly our less than 12 hour stay was just fine. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet and no issues. Only thing was the room was outdated. But for a quick airport stay it was fine for our family.

Nice hotel with an incredibly handy shuttle that runs every 30 min to the airport. The staff were friendly and the room was a nice size and comfortable. We wished they had at least some little snacks as there was nothing for dinner or breakfast that was available as their bistro was closed due to covid. They did make some suggestions for a restaurant across the street and offered to drive us there.

Listen this hotel is very accommodating. Coffee pot, microwave, and fridge in room. Very clean. Has a small store inside. Nice work out room. Staff were awesome! Reasonable rates. The only thing negative I can say is they really need to update the TVs other than that this place rocks!

I have never stayed at an Airport hotel and I do not think I will again.
The sounds of planes taking off and arriving are so loud and they basically shake the building.
My bed was broken and my toilet did not flush. The locations pool was closed and so was their restaurant, limiting their breakfast to cold items and coffee. The location actually has two wings that do not connect, so getting to your room may be confusing.
The staff were super nice and accommodating, they were willing to answer our questions.

This a nice hotel with great staff; however, Marriott Bonvoy amenities are lacking, especially for a hotel that likely caters to those who are enduring an overnight delay. No complimentary water bottle, no overnight kits, no toothbrushes, no shower caps, no lotion. Even the staff was embarrassingly apologetic that they did not have, what is generally standard fare for other Marriott properties.
That said, Shane & Yaya are amazing staff and great assets to your team!

The bad: not enough shampoo and conditioner for 2 or more people. I loath having to ask for it at night knowing there isn’t but a few people working. No setting on the AC for fan only as you can hear the planes taking off and landing all through the night. We had a single room and the bed was maybe 18” away from the wall. Make it difficult getting up o walk to the door having to inch down the side of the bed.
The good: so much good!! The bed was VERY comfortable. Large chifforobe with shelves. 2 drawer dresser that has a shelf in which the TV sits on. That shelf pulls out and you can tilt the TV. Large desk with a pull out table. Large sofa with pullout twin bed. Plenty of tables. And believe it or not, ALL of the lights and outlets work!! No missing light bulbs, receptacles hold the plugs, it was great. The bathroom was immaculate. It had a very large walk in shower with a seat, this was not a handicap room, there was also a small partition between the commode and door. There was also the microwave and small fridge that froze all my drinks. Coffee maker with choices of coffee. Wall to wall windows.
It was very nice staying here.

We had to unexpectedly book a room here due to our original booked hotels shuttle to airport was too late for us. Supreme driving the shuttle was very polite, courteous and accommodating. He runes a tight schedule and we appreciated that!!

We stayed here after evacuating from Western North Carolina due to hurricane Helene. The staff really went out of their way for us, everyone we interacted with was very friendly and supportive. I didn’t catch names but the ladies at the restaurant were so sweet and thoughtful and the breakfast and dinner we had were both really good.

At first it seemed the AC did not work, but the clerk came up and fixed things. We were quite pleased in general.

Recently updated Courtyard, looks mildly sketch from the outside and the location it is in doesn't help the situation. Inside is like every other recently updated courtyard so don't get upon arrival. Rooms are decent, it's what you expect staying at a Courtyard.

Kinda disappointed, I left my newly purchased jacket ( I know my fault ) hung up in the closet, upon my stay one night between hotels. I went back days later knowing house cleaning are the ones who go through the hotels and clean after guests leave. I went back thinking it would have been left with the hotels lost and found, but the jacket was gone... The disappointing part, I know someone from the house cleaning had to have taken the jacket, as they are impeccable about making sure no personal items are left behind. 😢 oh well, learned lesson.

This particular courtyard’s rooms were of the higher mileage variety. If the furnishings were newer, it would be a run of the mill high end business hotel. Many issues, from the furnishings to the general upkeep, was up to the level you would expect in any comparable business hotel about a decade ago. So everything is well used, thread bare and in need of cleaning and some fresh coats of paint. Most notably the rooms had cigarette burns on the carpet & countertops. Given the multiple years since smoking was allowed, it give you an idea of the age of the decor.

The rooms were very clean and high quality. I had a king bed tv a little office space and comfortable sofa. My only complain it's on the Restroom not because of the quality or how clean it was but because of the shower it had average pressure and kind of small shower head but for a business trip for 5 days it's was great

Can't say enough about the courtesy we received from Mark ( I hope that is your name) He is fellow Italian and really helped make a hard situation very easy. My family was on the way home from a funeral, our delay made us miss the connecting flight and we arrived at the hotel about 11:00 at night exhausted. The young lady at the front was having difficulties getting us rooms on the same floor and Mark jumped in and helped, encouraged and guided the young lady until the rooms were selected. He then assisted with our meal vouchers and got us our keys. He was the best!

Got some things that are run down or a little busted like the shower curtain isn't screwed on tight and the bathroom door lock doesn't work but everything is EXTREMELY CLEAN and everyone is courteous. An absolutely fabulous stay. I recommend.

Staff was friendly, and even though the property was probably on the older side, it has been renovated properly at some point. The shower especially was nice and spacious. Felt more upscale than I expected. There is also a bistro and bar area available.

Hotel is nice. The Bistro however...the people don't want to be there, the food is not great, it's slow to come out, and then it's burned. Staff made no apologies. Close the Bistro if you don't want to run a restaurant. The shuttle drivers went out of their way to accommodate our needs; drove us to the airport and some short shopping trips. The desk clerks were also very helpful and friendly. Only one star on the Bistro...everyone else pulled my rating up to 4-stars.

We arrived at 1am after our much delayed flight landed and we were stuck having missed our connection. On top of that our bags didn’t make it too. The staff was very accommodating. They gave the kids a complimentary snack. Kids left their backpacks in the lobby while checking in. Mr Jimmy brought them up and got us 4 toothbrushes and toothpaste too. Got a good albeit short night sleep and had a good breakfast in the cafe. Very polite and friendly staff. A ray of sunshine in a long and terrible day of travel. Thank you!!

You might be seeing these recent reviews and not want to stay here. I know I did. I will say though that we stayed here during our overnight layover last night and our experience was great. Front desk guy was great. Shuttle was there when we landed and took off exactly on time the next morning. The room is pretty basic, but nowhere near as bad as some of the pictures I’ve seen here on reviews. I found it pretty clean. All in all I’d stay here again for a layover.

I stayed one night.( last night - 9/12).as my flight had been cancelled. I had had the most horrible stressful day, and was ready to break into tears, when I went to the desk to check in, and was greeted by Mario. His kind smile, soothing voice, reassuring words, and general overall sweetness made me feel so much calmer, and cared for. He truly made a bad day, good again. I am so grateful to him for that. How fortunate you are to have such a lovely man to greet your guests, and how fortunate I was to have met him. What impressed me even more, was the way he dealt with a VERY rude man who came in, and treated Mario with total disrespect. It was very upsetting to me, but Mario remained calm, kind, and professional. What a great person. My room was very clean and comfortable, and though I was only there for about 6 hours, I was refreshed . In the morning, Mario made sure I got coffee, a the shuttle to the airport, and some reassuring words. Thank you very much for a very positive experience. And thank you 100 times more to Mario. I had the BEST experience ever! I checked into the Courtyard Marriott Airport North (2700 Little Rock Road, Charolette, NC). My dear friend and I wanted to grab some coffee and hang-out in the lobby. We were promptly greeted by Zain, who made us expresso and he gave us the amazing customer service. He was fast, curious and provided many beverage and food options to meet our needs. He was a delight, and he definitely has impacted my view of Marriott as an attentive, beautiful, and full-service hotel. Thank you Zain!

Was just a quick stay ,but the property was nice looked to have been recently renovated ( with in the last 3 yrs) all staff I encountered was nice. One person in particular,the shuttle driver Kenya , was super nice ! Had to stay overnight after a flight cancellation. Overall, the staff was very nice and helpful, and the room was in great condition. Food and room was a bit pricey, but worth it. Google says they have a 24 hour shuttle to and from the airport, but they start at 4 am. Great stay!

American airlines sent me to this hotel because my flight connection was lost. The services at the hotel were a disaster. That night, they had no staff at the reception or in the restaurant, so everything was extremely slow.
The worst thing that happened to me was that someone entered my room while I was at the restaurant and stole money in Euros that I had in my wallet in the middle of a suitcase. If the hotel wanted to verify it is easy because that happened on the night of October 31 and it must have happened between 6 and 9 pm. The room where I stayed was 406. It is unfortunate that after a 9-hour trip, arriving at a hotel that is believed to be safe, to find that the thieves are inside the hotel.

Clean, welcoming, and friendly staff. Only downside it is close to 85 so you do hear the highway noise. The beds are wicked comfy, the rooms are spacious with microwaves and mini fridges. The gym is nice with lots of equipment. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I was leaving for a 4 day trip to Cincinnati & this hotel has partnered with parkway parking to provide parking while you're away. I only paid $27 for 4 day parking. The car check in process at the front desk was easy and quick. The lot was well lit & has surveillance so I was comfortable leaving my car. The shuttle service will also take you to and from the airport however, we were pressed for time so we just caught an uber around the corner to the airport.

My mother-in-law had complications with her flight coming down for Christmas. She wound up with a connecting flight arriving late at night with an early morning flight to us the next morning. We called ahead to Marriott to make the reservation for her, because she isn’t good with computers or cellphones. They were very accommodating and kind. They made sure to pick her up from the airport, provide her a wake up call, and arrange the shuttle ride at the appropriate time to get to her flight. They also assisted us in staying connected to her through the hotel staff and phone lines there. I was even able to call in the morning to confirm that she made the scheduled shuttle. I just can’t say enough good things about this hotel’s staff service.
