San Francisco International Airport is a major airport that serves more than 50 million passengers each year. Although SFO offers several on-site SFO parking options, they are quite expensive, and people often want to park in off-airport parking lots.
ParkingAccess.com has valuable parking information on both on- and off-site parking facilities, and we can provide you with the cheapest airport parking service. One of the affordable parking structures near the airport is the Crowne Plaza SFO parking lot. Keep reading to discover their airport parking rates, location, tips on saving money, and Crowne Plaza SFO reviews.

Apart from independent parking areas, several hotels near SFO also offer their parking lots to airport passengers. Crowne Plaza SFO is one of them, and it provides long and short-term parking located at 1177 Airport Blvd, 3 miles away from the airport.
It is an uncovered parking lot with security cameras, an exterior fence, and accessible parking spaces for passengers with a disabled parking permit. Oversized vehicles can park here, too. All passengers can reach their vehicles at any time since the parking area is open 24/7.
Crowne Plaza SFO has great parking services. You can choose self-parking or valet parking service, and their free shuttle service will take you to the airport terminal building. Hotel shuttle buses run every 15 minutes from 4 AM to 12 AM, and the airport shuttle ride takes 5-10 minutes.
If you choose valet service, you must present a copy of your parking reservation receipt to one of the valet attendants. Also, note that you should arrive at this airport parking lot at least 20 minutes before the time you would like to be at SFO terminals.
Passengers driving electric vehicles can find EV charging stations at the airport, as well as various places in downtown San Francisco. Check out the locations of electric vehicle charging stations in San Francisco.
Crowne Plaza SFO Parking Coupon & Rates
Self-parking customers do not have to make an online reservation in advance, while valet service customers have to book a parking spot. Nevertheless, whichever public parking service you prefer, we suggest that you reserve a spot as early as you can. This will allow you to get a guaranteed parking space and a Crowne Plaza SFO parking discount.
The daily parking rates at the Crowne Plaza parking area start at $11.
Hourly parking rates vary between $2 and $5. Valet parking is a little more expensive, and so the self-parking option is the best choice if you want to reduce your expenses. Note that the listed daily rate does not include parking fees and taxes. All major credit cards are accepted.
To cut your parking costs as much as possible, feel free to use Crowne Plaza SFO Parking Coupons or Groupons. This way, you will certainly get one of the cheapest parking spots in the area.
Returning to Crowne Plaza SFO Parking Lot
When you come back to SFO, pick up your luggage and check out the written directions to find the complimentary shuttle bus service. During peak hours, the waiting time might be longer than 15 minutes, but usually, it is less than that. The Crowne Plaza San Francisco Airport shuttle service is quick and very comfortable.
Passengers who want to avoid pricey San Francisco International Airport Parking can find various other options. If you want to come to San Francisco a day before your flight, you can reserve an SFO Park and Fly package in Crowne Plaza Hotel or various other airport hotels nearby. It's very comfortable and close to San Francisco downtown. It was not that crowded and offered an interesting dining option. It's a must!

I don’t ask for much. All I came here for was sleeping and showering to catch a flight the next day. Walked in, it feels clean and nice, the front desk lady was very nice and quick with service got me checked in fast. Elevator could use some work, sounds like it’s about to break 😅 but made it to my room which was clean, had a nice view, bed was clean and cozy, as well as the pillows. Nice view to the freeway… at night it looks nice. I paid $180 during spring break pretty good price, which means it’s lower during other days and you really do get what you pay for, but honestly it’s a great value hotel!

This was a great experience. A sweet gem of a home away from home the attentiveness to cleanliness. Was a relief and how lax on dog. Thank you sooooo much. Love and light.

Hidden gem...
Perfect to park near the airport, cost
Me $10 per day and they have a free shuttle to all terminals in SFO
You need to reserve in advance through a parking app.

Besides being a little outdated, the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. It is only 3 miles from the airport and has a free airport shuttle service. The service was so refreshing. Everyone had a smile and was friendly and helpful. For the lousy rap airport hotels sometimes get, this one gets five stars from me, and I would recommend it 10/10.

We stayed here for one night before leaving San Fran and I have no complaints!
It was perfect for us as we landed on the morning and left the following morning!
The staff were friendly, room was clean, and the shuttle service to the airport was fantastic!
Nothing fancy but perfect for us

In general the hotel and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I used this hotel for an layover on my way to Hawaii. I found that the price was reasonable compared to the other hotels in the area. There are not much in the area for food and drinks (I didn’t check hotel dining options) and the shuttle runs every 30 minutes from approximately 4am to 12 midnight. It’s nice and I’d come back again if I have another layover next time.

We had a very comfortable stay and we really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The hotel is a bit old but they kept it clean. The airport shuttle was a big plus!

Hotel is a little old looking. Location is good as very near the airport. Great for people who have flights early in the morning as shuttle service is provided but not 24/7.

Friendly, efficient, close to the airport. Slightly run-down but I've stayed in far worse places. No-one stays in an airport hotel unless they have an early flight and the shuttle bus was great. Never tried the restaurant or bar, but lots nearby. Would use again.

Loving the new robes, slippers, and water bottles in room upon checkin. Robes and slippers are so comfortable and warm on these cold and rainy days. Stay here often and rooms have always been very clean, beds and pillows very comfortable, staff friendly and welcoming.

it’s an old cocept hotel, so rooms are a little small. Good for single stay. Breakfast is good. That’s the old style way with a good protein selection. Clean. Overall good service. Hotel needs a little restoration here and there. It is close to the train station which is operating on weekends only. The Broadway strip right after the station in an awesome collection of all kind of restaurants. Take the train go to the city, rent a bicycle, if you’re good you can ride the golden gate bridge, then go to Sousalito, take the ferry to SF and you’ll pass by Alcatraz. There’s a shore walk to the right of the hotel, but I would rather go to the restaurant srip and stop at the farmers market for a smoothie! Take the pedestrians/bicycle bridge to cross the highway.

Stayed for 1 night upon arrival as it was late. My advice is that if you are landing after 8pm. Have your dinner at the airport first as most places will be closing alternatively you can order Uber eats . Buy some water before heading to the hotel as they do not provide water. But they do sell it at the lobby area just more expensive. The hotel provides shuttle services outside the departure area (Hotel courtesy shuttle). The shuttle bus is free, but feel free to tip the bus captain. The room is spacious with a comfortable bed.

Great PM front desk staff. Super friendly. Clean rooms, fresh sheets, love their bathroom amenities! Only issue, faucet in bathtub in my room was loose and it took effort to turn off and on because of the screw. Otherwise, great stay🙏

The rooms are a little older / not as modern as you'd think from the picture of the hotel, but they're pretty decent. My room's AC wasn't working, and they were happy to switch me to another room.
I had such a experience with the staff at the hotel. They were just generally kind and thoughtful. I had to stay for a few hours after checking out and had ordered takeout from a delivery service--Emily, who was working on the front desk, ran after me and gave me a set of utensils in case I needed it.
The location is pretty great too! Its close to the airport, and they offer free shuttles that arrive every 30 minutes, which is very helpful if you plan ahead of time (especially since an Uber from the airport to the hotel, which is a

Crowne Plaza at SFO is in a perfect location with friendly people working here. The hotel is a little dated, and the guest rooms are pretty basic. However, it is clean and comfortable with all necessary items. USB charge ports are available in the room. Iron and Iron board is inside the closet. The hairdryer is in the bathroom too.

Older building past its prime and the Hotel still feels like they haven't fully recovered from the pandemic. They do have a pretty good airport shuttle service and the rooms were clean. Shower pressure was 8/10.
Update for June 2022:
- I have increased the number of Stars to 4 as the Hotel is right beside a great pedestrian bridge that takes you over to the Burlingame village area.
- Also, I had a shower without hot water and Michael from Engineering actually fixed it. Great work!

Good covid-19 procedure, good clean room with very nice condiments and a shower that isn't weak, small, or clogs. Got an executive 10th flood and was pleased with the view. I'd had much worse experiences at higher prices, so for this place to be reasonably cheap is amazing.

I stayed twice a couple of weeks ago while flying into and out of SFO. The hotel is a five minute shuttle ride from the airport. The shuttle partners with the Doubletree and was a very welcomed addition and was very efficient. Check in was easy and front desk staff friendly. The hotel has a restaurant. I ate both breakfast and dinner during my stay. I thought the restaurant did well for both. The room was pretty dated, but clean. The ac unit worked very well. The bed was comfortable. My only complaint would be the pillows were too firm for my liking. Overall, a good stay.

I loved my stay here. Whoever runs this place knows how to run a good hotel. Not only did I extend my stay, but I even asked for late check out, I did not want to leave! Every part of the hotel made me feel at home. The staff were very kind and accommodating. I Iiked the rooms aesthetic and comfy beds. Great location to drive to do the SF tourist thing, but still far enough away to be able to come back at night and be able to relax with easy parking (25/night) and quiet area with a beautiful walk among the bay across the street. I'm definitely staying here next time I'm visiting SF!

I stay here every time I go to San Francisco ,clean rooms, nice accommodating personnel at the front desk. The only cons is the way going there , and the cleaners they bang your door so loud as if theres something going on that you need to vacate the premises immediately , maybe they need to coordinate with other department, sad to say the DO NOT DISTURB SIGN IS ON THE KEY SLOT , good thing im already awake ,this happened twice to me already,😊ask the front desk at what time will the cleaners come ,its better than a awake up call

We were overall pleased with our stay. Customer service was lacking upon checking in and checking out, as if we were a nuisance. Hotel lobby was neat and tidy however hallways and ballroom lobby seemed unattended too. Our room was spacious, quiet and clean which was refreshing for the two nights we stayed, and the beds were comfy. Location was perfect for how we travel, we would definitely stay again for the price and convenience.

Great place to stay! It was clean and well maintained. The only problem was the bathroom door lock didn't work. (room722)

Clean, basic room.
You get the fridge in the room, but the only microwave is downstairs by the reception.
The waiter in the restaurant had an "I don't give a f$$" attitude, which pissed me off quite a bit, especially since I was paying for my breakfast (wasn't included in the price of the room).
One of the good features of the hotel is that it is close to SFO, and they have a shuttle.

Clean and convenient to the airport. The shuttle process was a breeze and there’s good coffee in the lobby. The room was a standard Crowne Plaza room. Nice beds.

Friendly staff, clean room and very comfortable bed. The pillows were so good I didn't need my personal ones. We needed a room for at least a week as family members were recuperating from exchange kidney transplant surgery and I was made very comfortable.

The reservations were handled perfectly, and I'm impressed because, during my arrival there, I was greeted enthusiastically. The staffs are well-uniformed and presentable, and my room was very spacious and comfortable. It was indeed a beautiful place to stay together with your loved ones. I will surely come back to this hotel for the next visit.

Great place if you’re going to the airport. Rooms were nice and clean, lots of amenities in the hotel, staff was friendly and helped me with the airport shuttle schedule - and it has an indoor pool! You have kids? This is a MUST!

This is our go-to hotel for staying the night before an early morning flight.
The shuttle service doesn't run as often as it used to, but it is very convenient.
The beds aren't all that comfortable, but the rooms are quiet, the blackout curtains are marvelous, and there are tons of USB ports for charging devices throughout the room.

Check in was easy and our room was excellent. Conveniently located near the airport with included shuttle service. Our flight was late, but we still were able to catch a shuttle at 11:30 pm. We left very early on the first shuttle of the day, and that was packed to the gills. So many people and so much luggage. Kudos to driver for playing Tetris with the luggage. Standing room only full with some luggage in the front seat.

It was a good place to stay after the Raider game. The room was just a standard queen size with a view of the roof. Very clean and the people were very friendly. Continental breakfast....kinda boring but we made the best of it. We got it with the room.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza on our way home after a month in Canada. We took the opportunity to visit Pebble Beach and Carmel. The hotel was perfect for our short stay. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. The staff were very friendly. The location is great - just a short shuttle ride to the airport. The only negative was the cost - but all hotels in and around San Francisco seemed to be very expensive when we booked.

It's a cool hotel with a particular vibe, from decor to staff. Staff able and (mostly) cheerful; from front desk to restaurant and house keeping. Overall the hotel is old-school where you get what you need and will get assistance where possible. Despite roads and airports, the rooms are quiet. The carpet designs are stylish. Front staff are often busy and seek to assist. The hotel is in a good location with shops, banks and parks close by including a popular walking track along the bay. Half-hourly shuttle service to the airport until after midnight; naturally tips are expected.

Really nice hotel. It is an easy walk from a Caltrain Station via a Pedestrian Over Crossing to cross Hwy 101. Although it is near Hwy 101 and near San Francisco International Airport, it was not impacted by the noise from either. It seemed the rooms were well insulated from the noise outside. I highly recommend this hotel.

I would call this hotel "rustic" . A lot of the features feel outdated. The bed was a bit too hard for my tastes. Room overall was nice and very clean. Though it was sold out due to an event in the area, it was very quiet. The attached bar/restaurant was superb.

We stayed at this hotel for the first time while moving, and ran into a miscommunication that caused us a bit of stress. The manager was extremely hospitable and gracious, and made sure that our needs as residents were fulfilled.
The rooms are spacious and a good value, and we appreciated having a mini fridge. One minor nit is a lack of convenient outlet access in some areas.
Overall, I recommend this hotel to anyone who desires the assurance of having staff and management who care about providing a high standard of hospitality. This is such a rarity nowadays, so it must be emphasized.
They have earned a regular customer in me, and I will always consider staying with IHG in my future personal and business trips.

We really enjoyed staying here. Here’s a list of a few pros / cons
Pros :
Very great location
Close to tons of great restaurants
Pet friendly
Cleaning and front desk staff are both incredible and go above and beyond
Pool/hot tub
Great grassy area right outside hotel for the dogs
Cons :
Musty in the rooms and no windows open
Extra fees for parking (in my mind, this should be included when booking a hotel)
Expensive breakfast and just sub par
Overall, it was a great hotel and we wouldn’t mind staying here again :-)

Room was clean, no issue checking in or out. I stayed on the 10th floor with a decent view. The only major issue I had was the airport shuttle. I was waiting forever while other hotel shuttles was coming and going consistently. The reason I gave it 3 stars for service.

Room was comfortable and quiet, and I got one of the 'bad' rooms. Personnel (esp. cleaning crew) were nice and patient. Room had single-serve coffee maker, but I wasn't crazy about having to get water for the machine from the bathroom tap. I would stay again, but I'd pay for a nicer view.

The hotel itself was really nice. Everything in the rooms was great and the rates were comparable to all the other hotels in the area. I picked it mainly because it was on the cheaper end but still had an airport shuttle...and that ended up being a long wait.

Beautiful hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar atmosphere was wonderful and the food was fresh and delicious. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. I did question the choice of the the door to the bathroom which was a glass sliding door that didn’t completely close, therefore didn’t offer a lot of privacy. My only other concern was the lack of elevators and the space inside them. However, we were there during a convention/reunion of some kind, so it could’ve been the crowds all coming and going at the same time. **here’s a plus** I loved the pillows so much I ordered them as soon as I got home! 😊

Excellent experience! The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast buffet is the way to go for both price and quality. What stood out for us was the staff, they were welcoming, professional and happy to attend to our needs. We will be back.

Convenient location. Some small things could use attention and perhaps a little bit of repair in the rooms. An example would be in the bathroom, where a little bit of rust was noticed in the shower.
If the cleaning staff could flip the mattresses every 15-30 days, that might add another layer of comfort for the bed instead of feeling like you're sleeping in a hasty fighting position. 🪖
The front desk staff was friendly enough, professional, and helpful. But I also understand some of the reviews to the contrary, depending on who they are dealing with.

I actually didn't stay at Crowne plaza but my car did while I traveled, flying through SFO. Every one of the personnel I encountered there treated me with absolute courtesy and helpfulness, and I wasn't even a guest. Which made me think that they probably treat their guests REALLY WELL!!

The hotel is in a very good location, nice size rooms beds are super comfortable. There is a Keurig coffee and tea maker in the room which is super convenient. Good shower in the bathroom. The shuttle from the hotel to the airport is awesome it's free unless you have luggage then it's $5 US per suitcase something they should really mention at the front desk. I took the shuttle a few times and the hotel guests were very unhappy when told by the driver they had to pay!!!
