This airport is really clean and big. Well maintained, it's lovely Airport. You can find everything here. I enjoyed having layover here for 3 hours. It's really convenient airport. I enjoyed walking while I was waiting for my flight to London.

This airport is quite easy to get around. I like the fact that places to eat are nicely distributed in different terminals. Doesn't feel crammed or too busy even on a Friday evening. Looks new and modern at least the 4 terminals I walked around. Hence I would recommend it's okay to have your transits/layovers through this airport.

It is a nice airport overall. It was busy but efficient there are places open for food and drink. Overall a really nice and clean airport even when busy. Checking in is quick and efficient. Note preTSA is busy as I think more people have it now but certainly better than the regular line.

Its never to crowded at San Francisco International Airport. Its clean and modern, one of the best airports in the world! Most shops and food vendors are open. I like using the Air Train to take me right to terminals 1, 2 or 3. I like the easy access to SFO from BART. I always take the BART and leave my truck at home safe.

I enjoyed the airport. We had a departing flight close to 10pm so we were here for a while. We did a bit of exploring. Everything seemed cleaned. Certain lobby areas looked really nice.

Show up early so you can relax when you get inside. Take a look around. This airport has some of the best artwork I've seen at an airport. The airport water is "recycled" and filtered in an environmentally conscious way. There is a wide variety of food, and the lounges has many plug ins for your devices. Don't forget to empty out liquids inside any containers before going through security. The TSA staff and security staff are very pleasant and don't bark orders.

San Francisco airport is just like any other airport in US. Got all the basic facilities but not much character to it. Directions and signs are easy to read and locate. Airport is clean and well maintained. There were no open eating places late at night at the departures area.

Airport can be made more alive with some pictures, statues or figures and can cost very little.

I really love when airports display the city's history or culture in their space. I have passed through the domestic terminal of the international airport - Harvey Milk Terminal 1 and loved that there was not only a mini-museum on SF Opera, but also a lot of information on Harvey Milk himself. Other than that the airport is filled with loads of food options and amenities that will make your journey easy!

Nice international airport with good amenities and shops. Seating amount and variety could be better which is why it's four stars instead of five. Easy navigation within the terminal.

I'm thrilled to give SFO airport a 5-star review! The cleanliness of the facilities really stood out to me, creating a pleasant and inviting environment. While I enjoyed my time there, I believe an increase in the number of charging points would further enhance the overall experience for travelers.

A beautiful airport. There are many different restaurants and cafes, many points where you can refill your bottle with fresh water. To figure out where to drop off your baggage with particular airline, have to ask a airport team member.

Whoa!!! All the new additions to the San Francisco Airport!! The renovations & expansions make this airport an international size & the International Terminal is HUGE. It goes on and on!! Did you know thereโ€™s an aviation museum & library AND medical clinic at SFO??

Very convenient. Walk distance to other terminals and Bart trains are available within the airport. There is no Plaza Premium lounge - all are operated by united airlines. Food selections are huge. Can also spend time visiting museums in the airport.

The new update/remodeling is nice, everything is so clean and orderly, even the floors are sparkling.

There are also so many more restaurants and bars by the gates, they have so many water stations to fill our water bottles. Sweet!!!

Very user friendly airport compared to others in area. Lots of unique artwork located throughout the airport. Plenty of working outlets to charge electronic devices. Quiet compared to other airports also. Shops and restaurants located throughout. Was impressed how clean restrooms were.

San Francisco International Airport is my gateway to fly to another country most of the time. I come here to drop off or pick up family or friends all the time too.

Almost all airlines have a better price for flights from San Francisco than from Sacramento. So sometimes I'm here for domestic flights too!

The airport is not very big compared to most of the big cities in the US or other countries. But it makes it easier to navigate. I don't like those airports connected by trains!

One of the problems at San Francisco International Airport is not enough restaurant choices in the airport and most of the restaurants are not very good too!

The parking lots here are extremely busy and very expensive. It will save you a lot of money to find a hotel with a stay and fly option. In some hotels you can book for parking only.

The security checkpoints at San Francisco International Airport are fast and smooth most of the time. But still come to the airport at least two hours before your flight schedule to be safe. I hope you'll enjoy your next trip out of this airport.

Nice airport. Bathrooms are fairly clean and stocked. It's quite large so if you have to give yourself over an hour and a half to get from domestic terminal to the international terminal. The only drawback is that there are no lounges where one can lay down anywhere near the gates. The only larger scale furniture pieces are right pass security checkpoint. This is very uncomfortable. The interior design team for this airport should reference Schipol airport in Amsterdam for furniture groupings to make customers feel comfortable.

SFO serving northern California and the bay area features multiple terminals with the international terminal being well presented with large spaces and a nice checking area. Connecting at the airport was hassle free with good sinage and connectivity. My connection was about 70 minutes from a domestic flight to an international and had no problem getting to where I needed to go, do a formal check-in, and do some airport exploration and some lite shopping. Security checks were well organized and with ample space.

I am completely blown away by this airport. From moving walkways to how easy it was to find our gate. This is by far my new favorite West coast airport. I definitely will come back here next time we fly into California.

One of the most beautiful airports I've ever been to!

It's freshly renovated in a modern style!

The airport has really nice lounge chairs scattered about usually at the gates and near the windows...

They have water bottle refilling stations that are free!

The security is professional and quick, with a very modern tray loading mechanism!

The bathrooms are some of the nicest I've ever seen in an airport!

All in all, a pleasure to fly from here!

This is a really well laid out airport. They have taken steps to assure passenger comfort and ease of function. Lots of cozy chairs and couches which are nice when waiting for flights. The air train is easy to navigate and felt efficient. Plenty of staff. Used both terminals one and 3 as well as car rental services. Its big but moved through with ease.

An airport that has a robot that makes you coffee? How cool is that! Additionally they also have a cool museum inside one of their terminals. Love the vibe of the airport, I noticed that California in general promotes a lot of their local businesses so even at the airport you will find majority of their local restaurants and not the typical fast food chains. Lots of cool play areas for kids as well.

Do not worry, just enjoy your final destination and forget how long it had taken you.

San Francisco international Airport is where it all started.

San Francisco is one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the world, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. There is so much to see and do in San Francisco, whether you're interested in the arts, culture, food, or just exploring the great outdoors.

One of the highlights of San Francisco is its iconic Golden Gate Bridge. This engineering marvel is a true wonder of the world and offers breathtaking views of the city and the bay. It's a must-see attraction for any visitor to San Francisco.

Another great attraction in San Francisco is Alcatraz Island, which was once home to one of the most notorious prisons in the world. Today, visitors can tour the island and learn about the history of the prison, as well as take in some stunning views of the bay.

San Francisco is also famous for its food scene, which offers an amazing array of cuisines from around the world. Whether you're looking for seafood, Chinese food, Italian food, or anything in between, you'll find it in San Francisco. The city is also home to some of the best restaurants in the world, so be sure to book a table at one of the many Michelin-starred restaurants in town.

For those who love the outdoors, San Francisco has plenty to offer as well. From the scenic Golden Gate Park to the rugged coastline and beaches, there are endless opportunities for hiking, biking, surfing, and more.

Overall, San Francisco is a fantastic destination that has something for everyone. Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or on your own, you're sure to have a memorable time in this amazing city

Clean and functional airport for domestic and international flights. Many food and beverage options, along with several airline and credit card lounges to choose from. Can be a long walk to some gates, and security lines tend to get long during busy hours. Large and easily accessible parking lots available.

Big and very modern. Really busy airport. All well sign posted with directions to the different terminals and gates. I used the Bart train service to get to central SF. Powell and Market Street. You can then connect from there with the cable car and tram system. Purchase a 3 day travel card for $36 and gives unlimited travel for those 3 days.

SFO is a nice airport but everything needs to get larger. At peak, the roads, security, parking and food options just appears inadequate. The terminal appears to be shoehorned into the site so it does not appear feasible that expansion is possible at this site. Compared to other international airports, SFO is not that large.

This is the famous international airport in California.

In my flight to USA, I flied with China Airlines and landed at this airport.

This one is so big and so convenient for check in, get the luggage. The security is so nice and friendly.

Have many shop and duty free store at this airport, around this one have Costco market and Walgreens that you can buy anything you want if you have layoverโ€™s time over 3 hours.

You also find many hotels, hostels, motels around it. Chinatown and Gold Gate Bridge are not so far, so you can go there if you want :)

It's a nice airport, it's clean and has modern stuff to offer. I had layover in here for 10hrs after Taipei and waiting for my flight to (IAD) Dulles Airport Virginia. Check-in is on time and don't have trouble with my baggage for my connecting flight. They have bag tags machine, comfy chair to seat, clean restrooms, and food stores you can buy.

A great airport with great facilities all neat and clean. The check in and luggage collection is fast and efficient without any difficulty. However, the Uber Taxi collection point is a bit complicated to get to in a hurry but once there, itโ€™s quite easy to negotiate.

This review is of SFO International terminal departure (check in area). We went here to drop off our relatives flying Emirates. Very clean and spacious airport. They had Chinese ceramics on display which was very good.

Four stars because The drop off area gets very chaotic and we did not see any airport staff managing the traffic while we were there

This might be the best airport ever! The check-in process was quick and easy. TSA had a very smart system of returning bins, and it went very quickly. The airport is very modern, with tons of decorations and places to check out. They even had a massive tree trunk as a children's play area! And I can forget to mention the skytrain, which easily transports you between terminals, the rental car garage, and parking garages. It's easily the best airport I've ever been to!

If you have a few hour layover... explore this airport. Check out the different terminals and ship, stretch your legs, check out the international gates (just don't leave security). I found a yoga studio open to the public (Terminal 3, E gates), an open terrace for fresh air and plane spotting!! (Terminal 2), and a lot of cool artwork (wall and sculptures).

Consists of 5 concourses, with the G- concourse being the one for international Star Alliance flights. United Airlines' Check-in for domestic flights is a pain, whereas international flights are easier. Always an airport that causes delays, but still a lovely airport with views

Overall good experience, especially on the flight. The attendants were very nice and informative, but the boarding and landing took a lot longer than usual. That being said, they usually are pretty speedy. TSA didn't take too too long, but it's always a bit slow. Very nice staff though.

I love this airport, but it can get crazy here really quickly. Nice restaurants around the airport. You can take the Air Train to all Terminals, car rental center, parking garages, and Hyatt SFO.

My luggage took so long to come out. There were no signs from the baggage claim area to go to the 3rd floor for car rental center.

A big and convenient airport. It has modern facilities and easy access to transportation -cabs, bart, taxis. It is well designed and maintained to help travellers with signs and directions. Washrooms are maintained and kept clean. It gets quite busy and is usually little crowded.

Very nice and functional airport, quite spacious and one of the better in US. Quite well organized from the moment you enter the building, everything is well signed posted and good connection to domestic terminals and car rentals by shuttle train. Immigration on arrival and departure is one of the best in the country, very efficient and without long queues. Probably the only downside is if you travel internationally for some flights you need to still go through immigration and go to different terminal. Otherwise nice selection of several decent restaurants, cafes, shops and everything you need to fill your time. Great idea that departure gates are one level below which makes is so much easier for everyone and avoids congestion and crowds on main level, nicely designed

Overall, a pretty great experience. It took a while to get used to the layout of the different terminals and how to use the Air Train, but after some trial and error and learning how to get around I really like the layout.

My only negative experience was at the Wendy's in the international terminal. They were disorganized, rude, inefficient AND got my order wrong. It was one of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had. I would strongly recommend not eating there.

When we got there from ATL, our check-in time was at 1AM even though we landed at 9PM. We had nothing to do except sit around and wait. The bathrooms were nice though. I wanted to check out the aviation museum but it was closed. Mostly everything was clean and check-in staff were nice. TSA was easy and swift as well. I was going to go to the Air France lounge but it was under renovation at that time, so I went to the China Airlines lounge which was not the best, but it was something. Overall good airport!

One of the cleanest airports I have ever been in. The bathrooms are amazing, the stores have some very unique finds, the food is legit and from around the world, the seating is plentiful/comfortable, and there is a ton of space to walk around. I was here at this airport while on tour to SFO during June 2024. I was awestruck at the twin landing arrangement here. What I observed is that this airport is the busiest of all I have been to so far. It's a silent airport and the maintenance has been exemplary with all the amenities required for a visitor.

A really great airport. Strategically positioned on the outskirts of San Francisco. Very huge, clean and well maintained. Full of art. Well connected with trains to take you to the city center and of course taxis. Was very surprised at just how quick my security check was when leaving. An in and out kinda security check, didn't last even 5 minutes despite the huge number of people. Upon my arrival my exit was also very swift. The quickest immigration stop I've ever had. Very easy to navigate despite it's huge size. And lots of restaurants and shops to buy stuff from. I just fell in love with this airport.

One of the greatest airport in the world. The best customer services. They employees are polite and professional. All of them were willing to help. Enough space in waiting room area. Parking isn't that bad. I would say that I would definitely fly from here to any destination.

San Francisco has upgraded its airport to a highly functional facility that is easy to use and almost pleasurable to fly from. Seating is comfortable. Restaurant choices are varied and interesting. Restrooms are clean and modern. Signs are readable. Security works well. You can get in and out via BART.

One thing to watch -- airport vendors tend to add an "employee benefits" surcharge to their prices, sometimes declared with a somewhat visible sign, sometimes not. Employee benefits are good. Deceptive pricing is bad. Recommendation -- buy food before coming to the airport to punish the deceptive vendors and the government authorities that permit it.

Ooh. I like this airport. I was in terminal 2 in the D concourse. It's a cute one has a lot of shops and restaurants low to high end. shoe shines, massages and chocolate if you happen to be there when they are open. FYI if you are checking bags with Alaska you are only allowed to check bags 4 hours before you board. Not 3 and a half. Not Three and a quarter. FOUR

Is it weird to be obsessed with an airport? Because I am. They have robot arms serving coffee, mini museum and art exhibits, tons of food options, cool (and ambient, and hot) water stations! I visited terminals 1 and 3 and both were awesome. Very easy to navigate.

I recently traveled from this airport to Los Angeles and Chicago, and itโ€™s one of the busiest yet most beautiful airports, located right by the beach. The staff at San Francisco Airport are incredibly friendly, and the directions and instructions throughout the airport are very traveler-friendly. It was easy to navigate and find my terminal, gate, and baggage claim.

Really nice airport! Very well organized and managed! I really love how many airports are becoming more accessible to those with all disabilities! I feel like this airport did a great job. This is a huge airport so definitely get there with time to spare. The air-train was very easy to use with loud speakers for where the train was going. Food and shopping around. Will be expensive but thats every airport.

Super nice, well equipped airport that's clean and fairly easy to get around. The terminals have comfortable places and a good amount of room to crash, and there are plenty of food stops to buy overpriced food and drinks.

It does seem that there are an unusual number of flight delays, though, but hopefully that is temporary.

I've not flown into the San Francisco international airport very much, and when I have it has only been domestic flights - but it seems as though this airport has countered most of the critiques that I share of other airports. For example, this airport has places to walk between terminals (and sky train if needed), it has wide concourses, lots of different types of seating (although there could be a bit more), and their check in area seems better designed than the traditional airports I've flown in. Overall, this is a really nice airport that is, comparatively, one of the best I've flown into (and it seems like a decent location for layovers - although layovers are never "great").

This charming and picturesque West Coast city is the perfect getaway destination for couples, singles, or families. Famous sites, charming streets, beautiful views, and outdoor dining are all part of what makes San Francisco such a great place to visit.

Take a cruise on San Francisco Bay, tour Alcatraz, drive over the Golden Gate Bridge, wander around Fisherman's Wharf, or hop on a street car to explore the city sites.

Summer or fall is a wonderful time to visit, but the climate here is mild and any time of year is pleasant.

The airport is pretty good and easy to get around. The cool part was land adjacent to another plane landing. Definitely arrive at the airport early as the TSA line can be long. There are plenty of options for food and place to wait for a plane.

SFO is a bustling hub with modern amenities but feels very busy and crowded! Diverse dining options, lots of shops, free Wi-Fi, clean and well-maintained. Public transport connections are excellent. Despite occasional congestion, the overall experience is alright! ๐Ÿ‘

This is the only airport I fly/trust in the Bay Area. Itโ€™s probably the most convenient because most destinations are direct and hassle free. Also the eateryโ€™s they have within the terminals are unique and you will find something you will like. Lastly if you have early flights itโ€™s best to arrive a little ahead because it can get very congested.

It is a very big airport. When you are connecting to OGG Airport from overseas, you need to correct your check-in luggage and re- check- in luggage again for connecting flights. But when you depart from OGG back to your home country, you don't need to re-check-in your luggage.

Obviously one of the nicest and cleanest airports we've ever seen. We also met here very beautiful works of art, which decorate the walls all over the airport. Another very interesting thing is that we get to know more about one of San Francisco's very famous mayors, a Chinese native. The airport is very worthy of our choice.

We believe that there will be many tourists around the world who would like to have the opportunity to set foot in the capital of the United States of America as well as admire these iconic works.

I recently had the pleasure of traveling through San Francisco Airport (SFO) and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment I entered the airport, I was impressed with its efficiency, cleanliness, and modern design.

First and foremost, the staff at SFO were incredibly friendly and helpful. Whether it was the security personnel, airline staff, or customer service representatives, everyone I encountered went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and enjoyable travel experience. They were knowledgeable, approachable, and made me feel welcome throughout my time there.

The airport itself is impeccably maintained, with a spacious layout and a wide range of amenities. With plenty of seating areas, clean restrooms, and charging stations, I never felt cramped or uncomfortable, even during peak travel times. The terminal architecture is not only visually stunning but also designed with convenience in mind, with clear signage and easy navigation to make getting around a breeze.

One aspect that truly stood out to me was the food and shopping options at SFO. There is a diverse range of restaurants and eateries, serving everything from quick snacks to gourmet meals. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of food available. Additionally, the airport houses an impressive selection of shops, offering a mix of luxury brands, local boutiques, and duty-free options. It was a delight to browse through these stores and find unique souvenirs to take home.

Transportation to and from the airport was seamless, with convenient public transportation options such as the BART and numerous rideshare services available. The airport also provides ample parking facilities for those who prefer to drive.

Overall, I had an excellent experience at San Francisco Airport. Its friendly staff, impressive facilities, and superb amenities make it a top-notch travel hub. Whether you are a first-time traveler or a frequent flyer, SFO is sure to leave a lasting impression and make your journey a pleasant one. I highly recommend it to anyone passing through the San Francisco area or using it as a starting point for their travels.
