I would like to praise the service provided by the receptionists and hotel management! I stayed overnight on 10/05 and ended up forgetting my headphones and dollars in the safe! Two days later I lost my phone and money and called the hotel, and the employee Andrea answered us and prioritized the case, managing to get everything back to me correctly! They were very attentive and correct!

Saved me from sleeping on the airport floor for 10 hours. Accommodated my situation even though it was almost 3am. The manager was a fantastic guy, really made my worries disappear the moment I got in the room and got to breathe for a moment. Thank you again, to the manager who's name unfortunately escapes me right now. Absolutely a 5 star customer service experience

Though the outside of this motel seems run-down, the inside and the rooms are modern, clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff is available 24 hours and are very helpful-- we had an issue one night when housekeeping didn't clean our room and the front desk night manager rectified the situation right away and got us what we needed.
The rooms include a safe, coffee maker and refrigerator. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. I appreciated all the storage space and the multiple chairs for seating. In addition, the room was spacious and despite us being on the ground floor, there was never an issue with extreme noise. There is a bus stop a block away that goes to Mariposa Metro station, so even without a car, we found it easy to get around. Also within walking distance is Inn N Out, Carl's Jr./The Green Burrito, Walgreens, IHOP, The Coffee Bean. We only used the pool once, but it was heated, clean and honestly, I was impressed with how much nicer this motel was than I expected it to be.

Andrea really made sure my stay at the Travelodge was as good as can be! She helped confirm my reservation and made sure I had the right room for my stay, and it was super easy to check in, and even what time the shuttles were back and forth to rhe airport. Eddy at the desk helped me understand how to get a taxi, and that they had a waiver to pay the drivers (since the shuttle driver for the hotel was not at work).
Thank you Andrea for the excellent experience and customer service, you are a true asset to the company and this hotel.

They managed to get us a room late at night when our other accommodation cancelled on us. They also provided a free shuttle to the airport the morning after. The room was spacious & everything was tidy. Would definitely stay again when needing a hotel near LAX.

This is a great place to sleep on a long layover. Compétive rates and great service. The rooms are newly remodeled and spotless. For the $100 price point, excellent value. I couldn't believe how nice it was! Walking distance to Chick fil a. Only downside is shuttle only comes once an hour to LAX, so you may have to wait

The room was very clean. I brought my black light to verify the room was in fact clean. I booked the room one day short and the staff gave me a better rate than what I had booked initially. There were minor things that I choose not to mention because my over all experience was great. I do wish the parking was free for the hotel guess though.

I am giving 5 stars because of the customer service. Yvette is your go to girl in crisis, she is good people! When the airline screws up your flight and you’re stuck at the LAX airport and the airline voucher is also messed up. I urge you to go see Yvette, she will do her best to take care of you! They have airport shuttle on the hour too.

$20 extra fee for parking, not noted in any of the sites I checked (Expedia, Google). We needed a room for a 1-night sleep near LAX. This motel is close, 10 min or so from off-site parking.
The desk clerk was curt and unfriendly when I was annoyed by the unexpected parking fee (she probably heard this all day). This immediately tainted our experience. However, our room was very nice, large, newly renovated, clean. Full size amenities don't waste little bottles. Microwave, fridge, safe and coffee maker are great perks. The bed was really lovely and comfy, the TV was large. We were very pleased with the newly renovated room.
This motel is just off Rt 1, with room entrances directly off the parking lot, so it's not quiet. A door sweep to block the bottom crack of the entry door would have reduced irritating noise and light. The blackout curtains don't reach the sill, so the room was much brighter than desired for the jetlagged sleep-in we needed. These are small improvements that would improve guest experience with little cost from management. But overall our experience here was quite decent.
What would improve our stay- free parking (expected) or at least clearly disclosed fees; kind, friendly desk clerk; improved in-room darkening features. Small inexpensive changes that would help get higher ratings! I hope management is listening, they are clearly on the right track here and most of the important features are on target.

5 min drive from LAX airport, El Segundo beach is an hour walk and plenty of cafes and supermarkets so its a nice area. Rooms look recently refurbished and are beautiful and clean. Only issue was the grumpy receptionist that checked me in; she was abrupt and rude. Made it very obvious she didn’t want to be there and gave me nothing but blunt and short answers. The next day, there was another receptionist working and she was lovely & helpful.

The shuttle I guess is hit or miss. I was able to get on from and to the airport. Make sure you check the times. Room was nice but walls are thin. I guess there was a mixup in rooms because the worker opened my door while I was inside which was sort of unsettling. Good place to stay for a night

Hop skip and a jump away from the airport. I would pay the little extra to stay here. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Always had the information I needed. And they made sure that when I told them what time my flight was they had the shuttle right there. Had so much extra time I was able to get in a nap and have breakfast at the airport. Thank you Travel Lodge for all you did. They did have construction going on at the hotel but made sure it was very well roped off for safety. Very very very impressed.

The stay is really well maintained and the staff is friendly and kind. It’s super close to the airport which was super convenient. There’s lots of food places to eat nearby and a convenience store too. Would highly recommend.
They also offer a free shuttle to the airport. Our flight from LA to SFO was at 8:30 am so the staff arranged for our departure through shuttle and scheduled it before hand for 6 am. There’s coffee machine too near the reception so you can get free coffee there.
The room was well equipped and also had a heater to adjust temperature of the room which was a really good convenience. Bathroom and toilets were clean too.
Stay was clean, maintained and really good! If you’re looking to stay somewhere nearby the LAX airport then this place is very affordable and really worth it!

Ignore the bad reviews- this place is amazing value! It's literally the cheapest hotel at LAX, and includes a free shuttle from Level 2 that came within 5 mins (the driver was delightful and hauled my massive bag for me, A+). The two ladies on the front desk were helpful and well trained. I went from curbside to a comfy bed within 15 mins - what more could you ask for?? It's an airport miracle!!
Yes, it's a little worn around the edges, for example the AC is from the 1980s, but it works so WHO CARES?! The bed is clean and oh so comfy, the room is newly renovated, and the bathroom is spotless: sign me up.
Also (unlike the $700 Conrad Hotel nearby) it has an in-room fridge and microwave to heat up those leftovers you salvaged from the airport lounge.
It even has day-use rates ($65 for 7am thru 2pm, $75 to 4pm, etc) and late checkout options. This is truly the world's most useful yet underappreciated airport hotel.
"The Travelodge: it's not the hotel of your dreams, but it does the job with cheerful aplomb." *chefs kiss*

Stayed here for the night. All soap conditioner and lotion was provided which was great! Towels, bed sheets, and room was clean! Front desk ladies were all very nice! We used the shuttle to have them come pick us up at the airport! 8 min walk from in & out and other restaurants!

We missed our flight and got a last minute booking here. The hotel shuttle picked us up. The driver was lovely. The rooms were really nice and clean. Beds were comfortable, too. I would stay there again.

Newly remodeled rooms. Don't hesitate, book! Clean & quiet hotel w/ airport shuttle service. No breakfast yet but there's an in-room tablet through which you can order food. $10 Lyft ride to Manhattan Beach.

Good overnight stay, older property that has had rooms redone. Staff let us check in early. Be aware that overnight car parking is extra charge, $20 for us. Rooms were clean and equipped with essential stuff.

The pictures make it look upscale and cool. Great job photographer! However, it is best to just go to your room for the night. And fly the heck out in the morning. But the room did not disappoint, so there is that

Check in was quick and paid $20 a night for parking.
The first night we got a room with a broken ac blowing humid air. The whole family had a restless night trying to stay cool.
The next day my husband had told one of the employees who was out working and without hesitation they tried to fix it and since they couldn't they moved us to a more refreshing room with ice cold ac.
Overall the hotel was a great place to stay near Lax for an unbeatable price. I would stay here again. There is a liquor store next door and a coffee bean within walking distance.

Stayed before a flight. Overall, decent place. It's on the cheaper side so for the price, I thought it was a good deal. Older building was clean. Only issue was the noise from the traffic, but with the Ac on it was easy to sleep

Stumbled upon this using my wyndham reward points! This place is meticulously kept...very clean and everyone is nice...the pool was refreshing and incredibly close to the airport and not so far from downtown El Segundo...definitely will be back. Airline crew friendly

We couldn't have chosen a better hotel to stay in! The price was very affordable. The staff friendly and accommodating. Cash deposit was accepted which is nice. I love the modern updates here. They have a cute clean pool but we didn't get to try it because the weather in April was bone chillin other wise we would have. The location was so awesome! Next door to a convenience store- a safe 1 minute walk. A couple minute walk to an ihop. And 1 short bus ride away from the train. 5 mins from airport. And 7 mins from Hart House- the best vegetarian fast food joint in the world!!!

Excellent hotel with everything I could have wanted. Very clean room and comfy bed. I had to wait about 90 minutes for shuttle pick up from LAX. Would stay here again and recommend it.

Clean room and hot clean shower. If you’re just sleeping in the room or need a good hot shower, this is it. Yes it’s not fancy, but my room was perfect for what I used it for. It’s a 2 star trying to be a 3 star with the late night front desk person being nice and helpful.

5 stars cause everything exceed my expectations! Room much more spacious than I was expecting! More amenities that a 3 star hotel so more than I needed. Room super clean and bed super comfortable. Updated rooms and floors so big plus. Noise wasn’t really bad at all from what I read in other views. Location was ideal for everywhere I was going. Kids even enjoyed the pool. $20 parking is less than it is at other close by hotels. Also friendliness and helpfulness of staff made it feel like 4 star hotel in that regards. I like free breakfast, but the money I saved staying here easily afforded a breakfast at one of many nearby places to eat. I look forward to staying here again.

I really liked my stay in this hotel. The staff was very helpful especially for an after midnight check in. The rooms appear to be newly renovated. The mirror in the bathroom has extra lighting.
The only thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t much light when you click the switch in the room… but they have multiple lights in the room to help light up the room, the 2 bedside lamps and recess lights.

Good hotel with nice staff. If you want convenience, this is it. There is an airport shuttle running all night for pickup and they are very eager to help you navigate this (potentially) unfamiliar city. Rooms were okay: not the cleanest but with modern conveniences and it's a good spot for the evening. I paid $175 for the evening, but I really think it should have been closer to $140.

Wow I had a pleasant stay at your establishment. I mean from check in to check out went as smooth as can be. When arriving and entering was first greeted by the front desk they gave me the run down about the facility and what they had to offer. Then was greated by management Andrea she was such a breath of fresh air I thought I was in downey .Travelodge LAX I will stay and recommend to others I give two thumbs up ten toes on the ground and one mic check because it was so quite. Thank you travelodge and staff/management.

We had to stay a night near LAX due to arriving a day early to the US. This hotel answered messages fast -- they have a free shuttle and LAX isn't easy to navigate but were steered in the right direction via message. The check-in was quick and easy.

Everything was super good, more than expected actually.
Super close to the airport, the shuttle was fast (a bit difficult to contact them if you don't have a local number) but it's ok, and pool was a bit small.
Other than that everything was fine, super clean room, the bed was super comfortable and everything seems new, big TV and coffee machine working well.
The receptionist was super kind and helpful.

Hi. I visited on May 21st. There was no problem at all to stay for a while, and there was a shuttle to the airport, so it was comfortable. However, on the 22nd, another 100 dollars was paid by credit card. I understand that 100 dollars should be canceled from the deposit, but what is the reason for the payment?

The location is fantastic. Within a five minute taxi ride from the international terminal at lax. The service there was straight forward and the staff were very professional. The rooms had a recent renovation and are extremely comfortable and modern. Overall excellent value for money and I would stay again if I travel through Los Angeles.

Stayed there in Dec 2022 for 5 nights, the room is new and clean, washing machine wasn't working, and the room service didn't want to make up the room. Front desk workers are nice and helpful. Location is near 105 freeway, very easy access to go around the city if you are driving.

Hotel staff was nice and accommodating. Hotel interior was clean and updated. I really liked the decor. I wish we could have spent more time in the room since I liked the room so much! We needed a good nights sleep before an early flight and the bed, pillows and sheets were so comfortable—we slept great!
I thought it was amazing value for the money!
The hotel provides complimentary shuttle to the airport whether it be by shuttle bus or Lyft ride. It took us about 15 mins to get to the airport at 6am. They DO charge $20 for parking so note that. This was not an issue since we had already dropped off our rental car.

Stayed here for a week in 2010 on the way back from Fiji we ended up stranded at LA because of the ash cloud situation. This hotel was the nearest to the airport and cheapest so we decided to just go with it with absolutely no idea how long we’d be stuck here. We actually ended up really enjoying our own little LA adventure and the staff were so helpful and kind - the hotel was comfortable and there’s plenty of restaurants not far away. We did all the touristy things in the area as we booked excursions from the hotel. We had a brilliant time. Thank you so much for looking after us so well.

Great room for 2 travellers for a short stay. Our room had some flaws- smelled like smoke upon first entering but it eventually faded and our window shades were busted. We just covered up the window with a thin sheet and it was fine. Amenities were great for the price- came with a fridge, working safe, microwave, bathroom necessities. Our washroom was cleaned when we were out of our rooms and that was helpful. Shuttle was in service as long as you call the front desk and ask for it for the next day. Coffee bean is close by as well as restaurants and grocery stores- all walkable. Would definitely reccomend to anyone who is staying for a short trip.
